What is a Shopify Platinum Partner?

Platinum is the highest of Shopify's five partner tiers, requiring roughly $5M in new revenue and six-plus enterprise merchants, reviewed quarterly.

The Platinum tier, answered.

Platinum is the highest of Shopify's five partner tiers (Registered, Select, Plus, Premier, Platinum). It requires roughly USD $5 million in new revenue and at least six Plus or Enterprise merchants over a two-year window, reviewed quarterly. About 33 US service partners hold it.

Shopify reviews partners quarterly against revenue and enterprise-merchant thresholds. Benefits scale by tier: directory listing at Plus, a Partner Success Manager and market development funds at Premier, and full strategic collaboration with Shopify at Platinum. Tiers are earned through delivered work, not purchased.

The tier verifies scale of delivery; it does not verify fit. The top two tiers, Premier and Platinum, both mark agencies with sustained enterprise records. Match the agency's specialty to the hardest part of your build, then treat the tier as the floor of trust.
